Actually something like that happened at the Top Fuel drags I recently went to.......Top Fuel dragster after the burnout rolled back in reverse too far and dipped back into the water trap..........the announcer caught it, the team saw it throwing their hands up in the air were helpless, and he wayyyy smoked the tires off the line with them being wet.
Simple things and errors happen even at the pro level, I still salute the driver here in the video for "being on the track" instead of arm chair quarterbacking pointing and going HA-HA, yet leaving the track in a mini-van full of snot nosed kids with corn dog still stuck to their face. At least the guy made an error WHILE RACING, instead being a poser.
