I thought it was an amazing movie. It really did live up to the hype. Heath Ledger picked a hell of a performance to go out on. Right from the get go its a total different game. I definitely suggest seeing this movie. I don't want to give any parts away.......................but go see it. It was long..........2.5 hrs long but it didn't feel long at all. In the end I was wanting it to keep going. As far as Heath vs Jack..............Heath's character was so much darker and more twisted, people in the theater were literally going "wow" with some of the shit he did and the way he was acting.
They did pick an ugly color for the LP640 though..........should have stayed with the color from the last one!!!
I just got back, it was awesome! Heath Ledger did a great job playing joker, he was better than Jack, definitely. I agree, the LP640 was an ugly color and yellow calipers? No thanks.
People clapped at the end of my movie, I haven't seen that in a while. Go see it, great film.
The kind of annoying part was we got there at 11 and figured we'd get ok seats and we got marginal seats. There were also a bunch of people dressed up as Batman characters which I found to be rather annoying, but it was semi entertaining at the same time seeing as we were waiting for an hour for the thing to kick off.
God............my whole life is waiting in lines! Line for an iphone, line for Batman..........luckily nothing is coming out in the next few months I know of that I'll have to wait
I got there at 11 as well, we got pretty good seats as they were showing the film in 6 auditoriums. No costumes but I did tell a guy to "shut the fuck up" because the fuck-face would comment on EVERY single commercial and EVERY single preview, that put his ass right in place and he didn't say another word.
When are they gonna let us stream new movies to our own damn TV's??? I'm tired of ripping off Bit-Torrent and I hate the movies places!
Read the spoiler. Lot more emphasis on a certain character than I thought there would be. And the pencil scene sounds awesome. Looking forward to seeing Heath Ledger's performance.
No, the previews were awful. They had the new Terminator movie and Watchmen, but even including those, they were mediocre at best.
My only complaint was how they handled the Two-face story. Obviously they kind of billed it big with all the movie posters of "I believe in Harvey Dent" and all the other crap. Even casting a semi well known actor for the role............
Heath Ledger's untimely croaking produced the best free publicity that the backers for that movie could have ever asked for.
True.............however honestly one of my big concerns were that they were hyping up his portrayal of the Joker just because he had died and really he didn't do taht good of job. When I saw the movie, the Joker was probablyt he most interesting character and most well played.
Took my wife and two teenage daughters to the "Dark Knight" and everyone loved it. Best "Batman" movie I've seen so far. Bale was great and Ledger was even greater.
Saw the preview for "Quantum of Solace". The title sucks but I'm looking forward to the movie. Apart from Connery, I think Craig is going to turn out to be the best Bond ever.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa..........2 teenage daughters??? por que??? pics??
I just go back from watching it too. I was also very impressed with it. Ledger plays the part all to well, he was very spooky. It also had some nice twists in it. It seems the Batman movies just get better and better.

Saw it thursday night as well. Awesome. Heath Ledger absolutely made the movie. My only complaint was Maggie Gylenhal. Katie holmes was a snaggle toothed poor attempt, but Gylennhall is downright ugly. Some of the closeups I actually caught myself leaning back and cringing in my chair. I have no problem with her as an actress but when directors try to make her or Kristin Dunst out to be some kind of 10 it pisses me off. Awesome movie nonetheless. I'll be seeing it again.
I agree with all of the above. My God! I didn't even know that two and a half hours passed by! The drama was real, the violence was intense, and who the f**k is Jack "I'm an Attention Whore" Nicholson? This Joker was CREDIBLE! No fake Tension or BS.
This Batman was better than the previous movie "Batman Begins"!!
I loved the use of Harvey Dent/Two face. He was portrayed and carried out perfectly by Aaron Eckhart(sp?). This movie set the bar as to what a real Comic book movie will require if any of the heavy weights want to establish themselves as a trilogy or better! This movie made Spiderman look like bubblegum fare for the movie going set. I can't say it enough, this movie was F'king Amazing! A must buy when it comes out on DVD/Blue Ray/ Beta Max . Okay maybe, not Beta Max.
Saw it today too. After reading alot of the posts we all agree it fucking ROCKS!
I also realized that with my exp. at the Theater resounded my opinion of how FUCKING STUPID THE AMERICAN PUBLIC HAS BECOME!
The seats that were meant for the Handicapped were taken up by two fucking kids, an old guy w/a walker didi'nt have anyplace to sit...This is the kind of shit that pisses me off. I told em' to move or they'd have a reason to sit there.
