Curious why 'the reverend' can say nigger - yet nobody seems to care...
If 'nigger' is such a bad word, and cost many their careers, I'd be curious why this word can be discussed only by a select few - yet a recent poll by CNN said that 57% of american africans thought this country has not moved on the racial divide...

There's clearly a double standard. Seems to be ok for blacks to say it though.
The only people who use the "n" word or call others the "N" word are exactly that. No matter what race says it. And its a shame that people refer to each other by using the "n" word, who wants to be defined under that meaning.
I have heard blacks, white, hispanic all use the "N" word to refer to someone of there own race and its beyond me how stupid and ignorant they look and sound and to refer to someone of the opposite race as a "N" is just being hurtful.

Jesse and Al are both full of it but what do you expect. When given an opprotunity, you run with it and they both did just that with this whole race thing making good money along the way which I dont agree with.

Perhaps if they began refering to themselves as simply AMERICANS and not having to point out the obvious...

A friend of mine in college used to love crossing off African American and writing in American when filling out surveys. He said he had never been to Africa, probably would never go there, and none of his relatives even knew their history from Africa. He always tried to distance himself from the homeboy mentality when I knew him. The last time I talked to him he was in his late 20's and had just started practicing medicine and was disappointed he was having a hard time finding single, professional black women with no kids. He ended up marrying a beautiful Asian woman and is practicing medicine in California.
