For those of you that like Outback and those of you that don't know, try the Prime Rib Outback Style. Its not on the menu, but I think it is the best prime rib around and at only about 20 bucks it is hard to beat. I also can't eat it without the steamed lobster, although small, it is very, very good.......
Maudeen's filet at Saltgrass is damn good steak for the money too...
I'm the same way with Outback, I think you can't beat the Outback special. I have been going there since 92 in Florida and tried everything on the menu at one time or another. The cheapest steak on the menu is the one that does it for me. Steak and Ale has some pretty good cuts also, not sure if they are only an east coast chain or not?
The crazy thing about outback is I have had the more expensive steaks there but their cheap steak(house special or something) is the best.
Roc your right, the best steak Ive had came right off my grill. Cant beat a fresh cut of meat marinated to perfection. What do you use to marinate your steaks?
Yup. Nothing like slaughtering a cow then making the 30 yard dash to the smoking hot grill with the filet you just carved from the still quivering beast.

j/k.
Speaking of: (not for the squeamish. Is it still ok to say squeamish? Because I don't need some bitch from Texas all up in my ass about it))
Although I do not really feel like discussing food right now, as I was sick all night with what I think was food poisoning....not from steak.
I did just recently attend the grand opening of the MGM Grand at Foxwoods CT and they have a restaurant there called Craftsteak (I think that is how it was spelled). It has something to do with that Top Chef show on TV. Well, I don't care for much for meat, however I was taken there by a client and did not really have a choice.
I have to say that it was absolutley delicious. By far most likely the best steak I have ever had.
Also within the facility was a restaurant called Shrine, kind of like Asian-fusion. That was amazing too.
If I am doing the Outback it is the Alice Springs chicken, minus bacon and mushrooms with string beans

I go to Craftsteak everytime I go to Vegas. They do have a really good Porterhouse. One thing Las Vegas has is good steak.
Ya know....there was a time when the exorbitant cost of steak would have me threatening to crush the orbital bone of the local butcher with a jar of pickled pigs feet. But since becoming a Vegan and fully embracing a cruelty free lifestyle...I applaud the high prices and welcome the skyrocketing costs of all meat products.

And I'll heartily laugh at your wispy vitamin pill popping ass getting raped by the local GNC for the suppliments you pay so dearly for whilst I wolf down a pound of bacon for breakfast, a couple burgers for lunch and a steak and shrimp plate for dinner.
Oh, yeah. Veggie prices are headed up, also. Do you drive an SUV to the farmer's market, or do you pedal a bike? Just curious...
The best steak I ever had was cooked in my own backyard. Other than that, I actually like Outback steaks.
Funny you say that, I agree, at least here Outback has steaks that are not only a lot cheaper but right on par with all the 5 star steak houses down here and we've been to most of them. Plus I'm just not a "fancy atmosphere" type guy and hate getting dressed up for some of these places lol. Plus Blooming Onions ftw

Alice Springs Chicken FTW!!!
Not to mention beer so cold it'll crack your teeth on the first sip and the mug freezes your lip to it. Oh, yeah. I love Outback.
There was a place called "Sid's" in Newport Beach. Hands down, it was the best ribeye (or steak for that matter) I ever had the pleasure to eat. It was a hole in the wall, literally. When you pulled up to it, it looked like a condemned building. As the door creaks open, all you see is a dark room filled with mismatch chairs and 70's decor. It was a little scary to think that I was going to eat something that was made in there, but my buddy swore by it. The food came and the steak unbelievable, and the grilled veggies were cooked to perfection. They closed their doors many moons ago, but I will never forget that steak.

Seeing as the only supplement I take is locally made by a man...well...I'll just call him Creole Williams...the price gouging by GNC doesn't affect me in the least.
And when I'm back home in WI...ALL my veggies are home grown. The levels of efficiency we've experienced after going completely hydro has allowed me to convert another 12 acres to the veggie garden which was once reserved for the herb
And because I no longer relish the misfortune of others...I'll just say a prayer for your family when they wonder why the Lazer Mag Ultra is hoggin' out their 45 year old dad's arteries.
