Interestingly enough, I got pulled over a while back for doing 10 over in a 75 zone, and the cop and I had a good discussion about how our rights are getting eroded. He was just as concerned because, as he put it, "just because I'm a cop, it doesn't mean they can't come and kick my door down, too".

We talked for a bit more, and he asked if I minded if he looked around the car. I said yes, I do mind and he smiled and said ok, have a safe night. Cool cop.

Oh, it was a 50 buck touch for the 10 over.
