PA, NJ, NY guys...Somerville Viper outing is near!!
Below is a copy and paste from the VCA site. Last year, Viper Alley was well represented at this great event. This year...lets see how many VA guys we can gather to join in. The best part of the show is always the Vipers! We will all meet at the Bridgewater Commons Mall....then have a police-escorted mile long parade of Vipers thru town to the show. They will give us an entire city block for Vipers only...called the Snake Pit to park during the show. This event takes up the entire downtown, and gets bigger each year.
If you'd like to join in...please let me know and I'll make the arrangements with VCA for more space for us. If you've missed it in previous years....don't miss the 2008 version...IT'S A BLAST!!

July 18, 2008 — 6th Annual Sommerville Cruise Night
The Somerville, N.J. Cruise Night will be held on Friday, July 18th in conjunction with the Classic Cruisers Night held every Friday during the summer. We will meet at the Bridgewater Commons Mall at the intersection of Route 202/206 and Route 22. We will depart the Mall and caravan to Somerville at 5:30 PM. For those who can not make the caravan, meet us anytime in the Snake Pit which is reserved for Viper only parking at the corner of South Bridge Street and East Main Street in front of the old County Court House. The Cruise Night is very a popular area attraction especially for car buffs. It features a collection of over 300 Classic, Vintage, Custom, and Exotic Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles. Admission is free.
Once we get there, you are welcome to walk around and take in the sights. The Viper Club has reserved The Pub Room, a private room at Verve, a fantastic restaurant, directly across the street from the Snake Pit. From the Pub room, you have a clear view at the where our cars are parked. The festivities start at 7:30 with Hot and Cold passed and placed Hors D'Hoeurves to 8:30. We will then have a grand buffet starting at around 8:30. The Pub Room futures private cash bar at Happy Hour prices. The cost for dinner is $35.00/PP including tax and gratuity. Please bring your spouse and come and join us. If you have questions about this event, please call Charlie at (908) 581-8555. We will be raising money for our favorite charity, sending a World War II veteran and a companion on an all expenses paid trip back to his field of Combat. Please e-mail me to request a donation form, but feel free to make your donation at Verve. We will have a donation on bucket on site.
Dang Denny.... I won't be able to make this one- The Viper Engine succumbed to severe detonation and it threw 2 rods and killed the block.......
I can vouch for a great time at this event, just wished the police gave us some room to stretch out LOL (I know.. I know.. that won't happen ) But last years cruise was cool along with the meeting- I will miss out this year. Denny you must lay down a few strips on the blacktop for me....

Boy I was looking forward to seeing Somerville again and tossing a few back with my fellow Viper degenerates after a round of golf with Phil that morning. So while you guys are kickin em back at the bar across from the pit, I'll be chasing sand crabs with a flashlight and net with the kids! D,If anything changes I'll let you know.

No way my friend! I have family in Joyzee! I will be up there prior to next Somerville if I do miss it. I'll look you up when I do make it back there. Dinner we'll split, however I will definately take ya up on the beers!
