Things down here( economy) are just really bad. I lost my job Thursday after 10 years of being with them. I feel like dieing. I'm really scared and feel like a little kid lost in the woods without my parents. I don't know what to do. I've been sitting in my house since then and havent answered my phone or talked to anyone since.
Snakeskin.......life will go on......you just have to "get it together" and begin getting a resume together and hit the streets. There is something out there for you, just go after it. If you don't, no one will do it for you! Now get off your ass, don't feel sorry for yourself anymore, and do something about it! This is a casting call for your expertise!!
there are a lot of people WAY worse off than that. suck it up. make a move in the positive direction and make something happen. aint a damn thing gonna happen if ya dont asnwer the phone and makie it happen

Sorry to hear that. Regardless of your situation, losing your job would have to suck. Take a couple of weeks off to get all the shit done you need to get done but usually don't have time for because of work, then start looking. Where did you work?
Every man falls down. The sign of a real man is how long is it going to take you to pick yourself up. Look in the mirror and talk to yourself. I am serious. Ask yourself why you feel like this. You can end up maing yourself laugh and realize it is not as bad as you think. Where in the state are snake you?
On another note we now have 2 counties in Florida reporting nearly 20% increases in sales. This is the start of Florida coming out of this recession. Florida was the first(Naples) to actually report we were going into a real estate & economical nightmare. They were the first county to show increases in sales now for the last 2 quarters. Now the county I am in Citrus is showing strong increases.
