WASHINGTON (June 13) - Tim Russert, who pointedly but politely questioned hundreds of the powerful and influential as moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press," died Friday of an apparent heart attack. The network's Washington bureau chief was 58.
There is alot of tape in the can from him. He tried to explain the politics to those who didn't get it. Agree or disagree, He was someone who tried to do the best he could at it.
I enjoyed him and his enthusiasm and passion for his work. It sounds like he truly loved his family and always remembered his blue-collar roots in Buffalo too. God bless him and his family. RIP, Tim.

He was a good guy, sad it happened right at the office and family was out of country...RIP
I was truly surprised with the news.....I enjoyed him and his commentary on political issues.....and he seemed to be a "good guy" his relationship with his dad showed what kind of person he was.....RIP Tim.

Stunning...Agreed...He constantly took care of his Dad w/his busy schedule. Just last week, he went home to move his Dad into Care and make sure he was ok..Now he's gone and his Dad is still here...Unreal..RIP.
