So are the Lakers going to really crush the Spurs spirit tonight or are the Spurs going to be able to breathe some life back into their end of the series?
I think San Antonio has enough savy and pride that they will pull this one out. I always said Lakers in 6.

Tonights game certainly will set the stage for any remaining games. I think the Spurs will be tough to beat at home tonight. A lot of pride is at stake.
Besides the fact going down 0-3 would pretty much seal the fate of the Spurs.......I think if they win tonight they'll make it a 6 game series for the Lakers, if they lose I think it'll be a sweep.........

I wouldn't disagree with you. Except that if the Spurs can take both games at home and turn this into a 3 game series, I call it as a toss up in seven.
I didn't think the Lakers would be able to dismantle the Spurs in the fashion they have. I predicted the Spurs in 6 since I went with my heart. If they don't do i tonight I guess the Lakers would not get spanked until the face KG and the Celts.
Large delivery of Geritol for the Spurs tonight. Any edge will help at this point.
LA will handle their business vs the Celtics..........a team of aging jump shooters taken to the edge every series thus far is not going to handle a deeper, younger, more individually talented Laker team. I'm more worried if the Lakers have to play Detroit than if they play Boston
Pop pulled the team in game two in the middle of the third quarter. I think he could see that the guys were not going to do well, so just get them some rest. So, game two really wasn't quite the blowout that the score indicated. At the same time, I have never seen Pop quit a game in the third.
Pops play could mean one of two things: Either fuck em in LA, we will win at home, or we are fucked and my guys are tired.
It will be an interesting game today. If the Lakers go on to win the series, I really will be happy with either a Boston or Detroit win in the finals....Yes, I hate Bryant that much.
The Celtics look incredible. Pierce sucked yesterday, Allen continues to not find the rim, and they still pitched a shutout until the fourth where the officiating tried its hardest to extend the series and still couldn't.
I bet the Lakers are rooting for Boston to win because there is way more shit to do in Boston than Detroit! Detroit is a fucking wasteland, I've been there 3 times and everytime sucked.
We are off to Timmeh's house to play tonight. The SAS better find some "O" or they'll be SOS. A seasoned team like the Spurs should play better in their friendly confines and I'm sure the fans will be in a frenzy.
SAS is a 5 point favorite in this game, I'm not going to touch it, too much emotion involved which could swing the game either way. The Lakers must survive the early onslaught and quiet the crowd to win. I believe it will be close, 5 points either way, but watch for the wear and tear on the SAS players in the 4th quarter

Betamax will make a comeback!
I'm willing to conceed this one to them. I don't think they will go down 3-0..........I think Game 4 will be more interesting.
Obviously I'm still rooting for the Lakers, but I am not expecting wins like in game 1 and 2. When they were down 20 in Game 1 I was a little worried but even down like 15 I still wasn't worried at that point
