Midnight Run...

...no, not the movie...something much better and more exciting for members here.

www itnrally org (format it properly)

Midnight Run is a rally where the back roads of Southern/Central California is your gameboard, and your Viper is your gamepiece.

Objective: Given the maps, exact time, and GENERAL LOCATION of the checkpoints, you map out a route to get to the checkpoints exactly on time. If you're right, then you can do the rally at or below the speed limit. If you're running late, well...I think you know what happens when you're running late on deserted back roads where the traffic consists of you and your navigator, and your trusty Viper....

Yes, I'm a bronze member, and?

oh, and I'm a lead administrator for another forum owned by autoforums.

Thanks for asking.

Oh, you're from Mission Hills? That's where the SMSCC rallies start behind the BofA building on Devonshire and Sepulveda on the first Friday night of every month. Those are fun also, and are time/speed/distance rally events.

Haha, yeah I stumbled across that gathering by accident one day in like '01/'02. I was going to the Ace Hardware store in my '00 RT/10, kinda motley stand offish bunch though

BTW, thank for your site support, it wasn't there when I posted

And I can't bring this up: www itnrally org (format it properly)

Well, you gotta put in the . in the proper spaces...

Tell you what...

...show up at seven p.m. on the first Friday night of next month, and you'll have a pre-paid entry waiting for you. Just ask for Rachel (my ex-wife and good friend) and she'll know what's going on.

I think you might get hooked on rallying...as I did back in '01/'02 and beyond. BTW, most months there is a team driving a nicely built Cobra (kit) that requires some major fuel pumps (yes, plural) to keep it running. Not sure if they bring it around much anymore, with gas the way it is...

Do you have any idea where those two keys have been? Who handled them? Did they wash their hands?
