This is from a retired State Farm agent. The system has been tried and works in every state.
If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light, or whatever the case may be, you're going to get points on your license and a surcharge on your auto insurance. This is a method to insure that you DO NOT get the points.
When you get your fine, send in a check to pay for it. If the fine is $79.00 make the check out for $82.00, some small amount over the fine. The system will then send you a check back for the difference. However, here is the trick: DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHECK! Throw it away!
Points are not assessed on your license until all Financial Transactions are complete. If you do not cash the check, then the transactions are NOT complete. The system has received its money and is satisfied and will no longer bother you.
This information comes from an unmentionalble computer company that sets up the standard database used in every state.

I know of a street we can try this theory out on, Ron.
I have had (so far, doing it again right now ) 100% success rate fighting speeding tickets in CA via "Trial by written declaration".
You fight the ticket via mail, and the officer has to respond to everything in writing. The officer does not get paid for this time (unlike court time, where they receive OT pay).

Ya if you're some hillbilly trying outrun the cops in a pickup truck. But if you're a expert level rider on a 1000cc sportbike with race tires it starts to not even be fun anymore. Then you start slowing down just to fuck with them, or do u turn after u turn just to see the look on their face as you go by the other way.
