They should arrive sometime this week. The website I got it from, cheapest price I saw, had a very limited selection of sizes. So I'm not even sure if the 11.5 will fit, saw a lot of feedback on sites where they usually run big.
You know, back in the '70's we had a brand of shoe that K Mart used to sell called Trax. They were really cheap and were basically a knock off of the much more expensive Adidas brand of shoes. The Trax shoes, I guess in an effort to avoid copyright infringement problems had four white stripes on them instead of the three that Adidas had. My parents both being born of foreign lands liked the idea of really cheap shoes because that would allow them to use the money they saved to buy stocks and bonds. And besides, howdy doody, you still got an extra stripe thrown into the deal.
So I'd go to Junior high school in my Trax athletic shoes and of course there was much laughter about being the non stylish kid with the parents who didn't have any money. During PE class every once in a while I'd dunk a basketball and I'd point at the shoes and day "Take that Chuck Taylor !" and the kids would laugh not only at me but also at the kid whose parents would only buy him Chuck Taylor All Stars. Then I'd say "Well, it's the shoes that made me dunk" and the other kids would say "No, it's because you are a tall fucking 14 year old goon" and they'd laugh again.
Well, the years passed by as we all know they can and everyone went their separate ways. Every once in a while I see those kids around who used to tease me and I usually give them a dollar or so when they ask me for some change. Usually I recognize them and they recognize me and they'll say "You're that goon that always wore those Trax tennis shoes !" and we'll have a good laugh about that. And I'll go back to the car and drive home somewhat saddened because here 30 years later I am no better than the shoes I used to wear.
So yeah, buy the shoes, because whatever happens in life you don't what people to remember you for your shabby shoes.

I understand your pain. To be the son of a family that shopped at K Mart used to be one of the more ridiculed thing back in the day.

The reason why I have the items listed so cheap is because I have thousands of stuff I have collected over the years & I need to make money ASAP. I am a disabled Navy veteran who had back surgery in Jan. I'm expected to be 100% in a few months. For the time being, I can't work and contribute to the household. My wife works full-time as a paralegal and we have four children, all teenagers. We are currently receiving foodstamps, but with the way the kids eat, that doesen't last too long. The shoes arrived today. They are a little more pointy than they had looked online and they are a little wide. I'm debating whether or not to return them.
