The National VCA has demanded I resign or be fired because of a formal complaint from Larry Macedo as Ohio Viper Club vice president because I posted this at the Viper Alley web site - http://www.viperalley.com/forum/990640-post84.html . They claim that I used foul language, but made no mention of the people who used the foul language in calling Wendy Macedo those names and more. I have even been threatened with being kicked out of the VCA altogether because I post the truth about Macedo. Somehow I feel the National VCA should be protecting its members from tuners who don't do the job they were paid to do and won't return its members' money.
BTW, I asked Larry Macedo at the beginning of my project if it was OK to post updates on his progress and he said that would be OK. At the time I don't think either of us would have guessed that the bolts to the connecting rods and heads would be at seemingly random torques, the fuel system would be run right next to the driveshaft and that the single fuel tank pickup would not even be deburred from hacksawing it and not sealing the o-ring gaskets on the outside and the inside of the gas tank causing gasoline to leak inside the car, the Roe intake manifold was not sealed properly allowing boost to escape out the rear and in trying to get the boost Larry wanted he combined a 12 pound Roe pulley and the David Weaver crank pulley causing the Roe supercharger to spin way over the redline causing me to have to spend $850 to have it rebuilt with new bearings, putting in the wrong length pushrods and adjusting the rocker adjustments consistently over 2 turns too much making the engine impossible to tune because the valves were almost never closed - then Larry deliberately put in the wrong reach spark plugs, putting in a custom made roll bar that was not like the SRT-10 hoop style as promised - it only really protects my shoulders and not my head and neck, delivering my car twice with an undriveable tune and electrical problems, damaging many interior panels, not even fully finger tightening an exhaust pipe clamp which caused the exhaust pipe to become unconnected inside my side sill and melting metal parts inside the side sill plus damaging the insulation inside the side sill extensively. There's lots more, but that's enough of what Macedo Motorsports did wrong in the physical sense.
Then comes the customer service from Larry Macedo - excuses, excuses, excuses - "I need to remove your catalytic converters and the Belanger (header) pickles in order to tune it" - "difference in altitude between Florida and Ohio" - "I'll try and come back to Ohio in about a month and tune it" - "You need to buy an AEM system from me for a special price to you of only $4,500" - "I have a family problem and won't be coming back to Ohio to tune your car" after I told Larry that I couldn't afford another $4,500 that was not on the estimate - "I have been instructed by Larry not to give you any help and Bobby, your Viper Tech, also is not allowed to help you with your car", said Dave, local Ohio friend of Larry's who was helping me get my Roe VEC2 cards reprogrammed by Larry Macedo, who was in Florida. He had just put in a poison pill "test tune" in my Viper that made the car almost totally undriveable with backfiring, misfiring, uncontrolled surging and bucking, and could barely go 40 MPH at half throttle - etc., etc., etc. Then Wendy Macedo orders Bobby, my Viper Tech, to not help me when my car was delivered a second time with an undriveable tune, electrical problems, etc, etc., etc. http://www.viperalley.com/forum/868243-post1519.html
I was wondering if the Macedos were also censured by the National VCA - Larry for taking $28,000 from a VCA member and keeping his Viper for well over a year and still did not return a car that ran right after a second chance and also did around $6,000 damages to it while it was in his possession - and Wendy for posting "F*** YOU" in a public forum, Viper Alley - http://www.viperalley.com/forum/882468-post82.html .
Also, were the people who called Larry and Wendy names also censured? I do not believe I ever actually called either of the Macedos any names. Were the VCA members who called me vulgar names at both the Viper Alley and VCA site censured also? I'd just like to see if the rules are being applied fairly. I don't have a problem with being censured and forced to resign as Ohio Viper Club vice president if I stepped over the line. I do have a problem if the rules are not being fairly enforced. I have asked this toboth the National Viper Club and the Ohio Viper Club and have never recieved an answer, which causes me to think of George Orwell's Animal Farm - "All Viper Club Members are equal, some are more equal than others."
This hurts the Ohio Viper Club far more than it hurts me - I saw a lot of people volunteer to do things and never followed through with doing what they had promised the Ohio Viper Club they would do. I have more time to educate people about which tuner to go to and which other tuner they can go to and what they can expect if everything doesn't go right, no loss of pay (the vice president's job didn't pay much), and I probably will be saving $115 in VCA dues each year from now on.
I would like to think protecting VCA members from being ripped off would be a higher priority than language deemed in violation of the bylaws. It costs $10-$20,000+ to sue someone in Florida and after paying Underground Racing an amount more than I paid Macedo to fix what Macedo did to my Viper it would be a big hardship (but not impossible) to come up with that money. I am still trying to settle this out of court. All it would take is them returning my money and I'll never mention them again. Think about it - what would you do if a tuner had done to you what Macedo has done to me?

A lot of those guys over there think they are driving a CLK GTR, Pagani, or something else crazy like that. Don't get me wrong, I am a viper fanatic and appreciate the enthusiasm but there is a point where....
It also drives me crazy how no one says anything negative. You could put spinners on your viper and I am positive you will recieve compliments. Way too much censorship IMO.

Oh no dont drive your car....It might get a few extra miles and drop the resale value, Dont put mods on it or in 12301203 clusterfucking years you wont sell it for a good price!, And dont drive on the road its dirty, your tires wont be clean....
Ferrari drivers are the most unbelievable fucking yuppies I've seen,They go to the ring, drive like a huge gaping vagina, and boast about going to the ring... and they think an aftermarket "Tubi style" exhaust gets them more girls...
Porsche guys still are the best out of the wine and cheese society....theyre more down to earth and actually drive the fuck out of their cars...
Benz drivers are the worst, theyre posers, leather gloves the whole 9 yards but dont do over 120 mph on the autobahn and puss out on races at the occasional red light...
And leave it to Corvette drivers to brag about how much Zaino makes their car sooo much faster sexier..... Oh shit i put chrome badge on the rear and i got mad front billet grill and pep boys stick on shit!! Im soo much better.
Oh and BMW drivers are just as bad... they think anything American is bad handling (Like ferrari drivers....)
And F-Body/mustang drivers...typical redneck chickenshit motherfuckers, They do burnouts and automatically think theyre hot shit, They usually stay in long straights....and think anything thats not american is automatically garbage.(Last part applies for vipers... the domestic nuthugging, I'm not generalizing, Just a large margin i've met...)
