My first kid is boy and he has been sick in past but wasn't big deal. Last night my little baby girl got high fever 104.2 and my wife and I we took her to emergency last night. She is so much smaller compare to my boy and it is just heart breaking to see her this way. today, her fever went down after docor gave her anti body and some liquid medication. most of times my baby girl smiles and talks alot but past few days she just puts her head on my chest and goes to sleep.
any fathers here with girls went through this? how did you guys deal with it?

Yes, althought mine are 8 (girl) and 9 (boy) now. I feel your pain. Be strong for them, I'm glad to hear she is doing better. Just think, before you know it she will be back to normal with more energy than you can imagine.
I've got two of each and it's tough when you have to just watch them go through this crap. Just be there for them and always be strong. A prayer once in a while doesn't hurt either.
I don't have any of my own, but I have a 1 year old neice whom I love to death. Last time I was home, I caught her as she was falling and managed to give her what is known as a nurse-maid's elbow. Basically, it's when one of the tendon's gets popped to the other side of the elbow (feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong). Even though the doctor told me that it is extraordinarily common and very easy to do by accident, I felt horrible. The next day she was using her arm again and by that night it was like it never happend. Little kids heal so fast its amazing. Take solace in that. I'll pray for her.

My cousin just had a scare with his little girl, she got bit by some ants outside and went into Anaphylactic Shock, she's 1 1/2. Ambulance had to revive her twice on the way to the hospital. She's ok now, but they have to carry an Epi-Pen around now. None of us or their other kids are alergic to bites so they had no idea what was wrong at first.
Welcome to parenthood. I have two boys boys, ages 5 and 12. It's heart-breaking and I know what you're going through. Hang in there because kids are tougher than you think. My youngest was always sick from ear infections. Many sleepness nights from worrying. Prayers and thoughts to you and your family.
No one knows what is like to worry until you have a kid.
I feel for you man. You sound like you are doing all the right things. I've always thought that among all the times you spend with your kids the times you spend with them when they aren't feeling well builds the strongest of the loving bonds.
If she keeps having fevers or seems to be not improving be sure to bring her back for another evaluation. You can never be too careful.
Thanks guys, today my baby came home from hospital. Her fever dropped to normal temp and now she smiles and giggles all the time. I'm going home to play with her rest of the day and all weekend. She is strong and I am so proud of her.
When you are talking about fevers remember the power of a cold bath and tylenol. Most of the times they are not going to do anything else at the hospital.
When my son spiked a really high fever it was a constant battle with the wife who wants to take him to the emergency room. It's amazing how she will not listen to anything I have to say even though I have a slight medical background .
Many times going to the ER just results in a long wait, kids are resilient and an ice bath right away may be the best thing you can do at 104+.
I have 2 girls that are 4yrs old & 2 yrs old. It def stinks not being able to help them when they feel bad. But like others have sadi they are very resilient to things. Depends on all the symptoms, and there age...but you worry alot when you are a parent. Hopefully she will feel better.
