No Man, as you requested.
Sorry it took so long to take the pictures.
The Corvette is a 1969 427 L89. It has 45,000 miles. It still has the original paint, interior and convertible top. The L89 engine option came with factory aluminum heads and tri-power carbs. They produced about 350 that year making it a fairly rare option. My best 1/4 mile time was high 11's.
If you need any help in finding one, I can recommend someone who is very knowledgeable and well connected in the Corvette business.
I had a white 69 convt 427 with fact side pipes. rode like a hay wagon, but was cool looking. Sold it to by my house, other that the viper, it was the coolest car I ever owned

Funny you said that as my grandfather once said it rode like a lumber wagon.
It has only performance options - no convenience options. The original owner, Helga, must have been serious about performance.
Very nice Vette, I'll have to scan mine because I sold the Vette, it was nice having a 2000 RT/10 next to a 1969 L71 (same motor no aluminum heads) roadster. I had the Monaco orange instead of the Monza red, had the vinyl hard top and lotsa options. 3 year resto, original build sheet and scored NCRS Top Flight its first time out

You care sounds great. I can't bring myself to restore mine. It has its flaws but its all original including the spare. Mine has a weird color combo. Red with a black interior and a white convertible top. I would have thought a black top would have been the norm.
The car was originally bought in DC and luckily the DC motor vehicle dept keeps all the records from back then. I even have the repo order from the original owner. The 2nd owner drove it everyday until the 1974 gas crisis when he parked it and forgot about it. I bought it in 1988 with 39,000 miles when he pushed it out of his garage because he was moving. It was only 2 blocks from my parents house. Everyone knew the car was there but the wife was an angry drunk so my original attempt didn't work so well. I've put 5,000 on it in the past 20 years - many of it at the track. The rest is history.
Post pictures of your '69. We'll add some class to this place
