and note he will include American Gangster and 300 despite saying he wil not in the description. This seems like a huge package deal and some stuff for my girl and me to play with and we can sell the games we don't want to use.
Can I just pull the HDD and upgrade it to a regular SATA or IDE HDD or is there some programs and or data on it from the factroy?
No, MS makes a proprietary hard drive they have the 20 gig ($100) and a 120 gig ($180) drive. Unlike the PS3 that has a sata drive that can be changed to what ever size you want.
Okay guys, got the X-Box 360 Elite and now have 19 games. The unit is okay, but honestly I still prefer PC games. I do want to buy a steering wheel and pedals for the 360, so I need advice now. I have virtually every car games made for the 360 and those I do not have I am buying now so I need a good one to play and I shhift hard like my real cars if that is a consideration. Anyhow advice appreciated and kinda not thrilled with the X-Box 360 as yet with the platform. I hate how I have to hit 15 buttons to start actually playing on some games and skip the zillions of screens of BS... I would only give the 360 a C grade and I am using an HDMI on a 42" @ 1080P and graphics are good, but game play is where it is lacking IMHO. Anyhow, hoping a new wheel will help me enjoy it more. TY Gary

Now that the prices of virtually everything are going up and up and now that thousands of people are losing their jobs everyday as the US goverment still hands out 10,000+ checks to those people just getting off the boat, I think I will take a boat ride and get in line, I sure could use the money to pay for the gas in my Viper and GTO!
I have an xbox, the only thing I don't like, is how hot it runs. It literally bumps the temp up 10 degree's in a room after 30 min or so. I don't have it in a huge room, but still annoying. I only play when my nephews come over. You know you're old when your 12 year old nephew starts waxing you at video games.
Go with the Microsoft wheel, I think they are down to $100. Make sure you clamp it to a stable base as it is useless on your lap. Forza 2 is good with the wheel as is the latest PGR.

The MS wheel is pretty much the only choice you have unfortunately
I am not knocking this wheel but do not expect great things from it.
Well, my feedback on the X-Box 360 is not really that great to be frank. I much rather do PC games myself and my girlfriend is a gamer too and she agrees. I spent well over $1,000 on the Elite, games and controlelrs and such and I think there are too many buttons to hit to even get to game play and it isn't totally user friendly. Graphics are extremely good I admit, but to play a game and see all the stupid scenes before and then have to hit button after bottonm instead of going to a mains creen and hit play, allowing you to hit one button to bypass all the crap makes the games less appealing to me. Gameplay is good, but not great. I mean I LOVE computer games, but for an adult seeking to use their mind, I would not recommend a 360. This is more like brainless computer gaming with great graphics, but too many buttons (WTF was MicroSLOP thinking?) before one can play. My $.02 and believe me I would much rather give this system a great review, but anyhow it is discretionary income that I blew but I wud give it a C grade in my book.... Thanks for the posts however on the wheels. Gary
