Electric Cars!! Damn they are getting fast. I read about the Tesla about a year ago and just read on yahoo they are hitting the showrooms soon. 0-60 under 4 sec, 120mph top speed, 225 mile range. What caught my attention was when they mentioned if you drove it to LA from SF you would need to stop in Fresno to charge, where you would then plug it into the wall of your hotel!! So this means you can pretty easily go around scabbing electricity, you could drive across the states with no fuel cost!!! I wonder how long it will be before we see locks on electricity plugs?

Eventually (in the future), you will have to place your arm under the "electrical outlet scanner" (attached above each electrical outlet in public areas)..... which will read the chip embedded under your skin. Once it clears that you have sufficient funds in your bank account, it will open the lock, allowing you to plug in for an overnight car charge.
The only way around this (for poor folk like me) is to chop off one of the "high rollers" arm's on the VA and lug it around on the trip, utilizing the embedded chip in their arm to re-charge your tank. You probably only have a day or two before the authorities find out and cut off their account status. Then you gotta find another arm...
