Here's another point of view. Better for him to be on the chipping green yelling at you and your daughter than to be in front of me doing 30 MPH in a 55 MPH zone with no room to make a pass.
It wasn't what he said,it was the way he said it.I get that ALL the time,and at that point it doesn't matter what I meant,the fact is the delivery sucked.
I was at the driving range last week and this guy had his 3-4 year old boy there and I was thinking that the down side of that kid getting hit in the head with a gollf club was HUGE.Different situation but still kids and golf.

I just dont understand why some, not all, old people think they own the world and should have everyone bendover backwards to suit there needs or wants.
As opposed to most, not all, parents who think their kids should have access to virtually every fucking place on the planet and we should all bendover backwards and praise how cute and wonderful the little fuckers are?
Maybe the grumpy old man should practice his chip shots at one of a gazillion parks and playgrounds in this country.
Perhaps you already have one of these signs so your kids can play safely in the street?
I pulled up to a stop light this past weekend, and an old guy (70+) pulled up next ot me in a Prius. He rolled his window down and yelled at me "that car sure is loud.....AND just think of all the gas you are using just sitting there idling compared to what my car uses!!!!!!" My only reply was "I just want to thank you for saving some gas for my Viper!" He was pissed!!!!
