O loved it and still love it. I have an obsession with helicopters because of that show. I bought them on DVD when they came out a couple of years ago. The show was corny but it was fun. If it came out today I wouldnt like it but I was a kid when it was new so it will always have a place in my heart.
Dont know bout best show of all time but as a teen I loved Airwolf, Blue Thunder[the other super helicopter], Night Hawk[like Knight Rider but a motorbike] ...Havent seen em in years but Im sure they wouldnt hold me now.
Since, we're in the Helicopter buisness, we have some posters of good ol' AirWolf...Jan Michael Vincent...ashame what happened to him..He really had a great career.
The helicopter was a Bell 222 (glorifed by Hollowood).
Sorry to ruin it..but "BlueThunder" would fly rings around AirWolf...Gazell vs. Bell 222. Gazelle means buisness. Fastest single engine turbine helicopter today...w/60's tech. EuroCopter EC165 is a bad mofo, but that's a twin.
Any guy that plays a chello and then gets in his chopper to shoot missles and a machine gun at bad guys is cool in my book. Not so sure about Ernist Borgnine though....
I used to have arguments with my friends about who would win in a fight, Airwolf or Blue Thunder. My money was on Blue Thunder.
Dude, Blue Thunder had silent mode, and thermal imaging. He could watch Airwolf as he jerked off in his basement, and then shot the tip of his cock off from 300 meters.
airwolf had air to air missles. Sorry folks the party is over. Blue thunder had no stealth. They both see each other. a few missle shots later (Airwolf had an endless supply) blue thunder and it's 20mm gatling go sailing down to the ground...

Ha! The only thing Airwolf had over Blue Thunder was a cool theme song.
