So it looks like Chevy isn't asleep at the wheel like I figured. I guess we can expect an under rated HP car like the new Viper.

My guess is it lays down 580 or so at the wheels.

That's what I'm figuring as well. I would also think with a computer flash/programmer you can up the boost just like on all the turbo diesel trucks for an extra 80 to 125 RWHP

Nope...not without a crank pulley or supercharger pulley swap. Several people who have seen the setup say it will be extremely difficult to mess with. Even with mods, the Supercharger is 2.3 liters...about the size of a ROE. My guess is that high 600s is the most we will see with bolt ons. Maybe low 700s. Some little birdies have told me the 08 engine in the Viper is capable of such (don't ask, I will not tell).

They said that for the last generation of Cobras when they came out too and look at how that turned out.

Someone always figures out a way...

Big difference between tuner for s/c engine and turbo engine, the flash increases boost and diesels just happen to respond incredibly comapred to turbo gas engines (simple flash can gain easy 150+ rwhp and couple hundred ft lbs of torque).

Probably a PITA press-on pulley like the 3800 SII blowers. I remember doing a swap on my old Grand Prix and skinning the knuckles on all five fingers when the wrench let go while turning the nut on the pulley remover.

Fucking piece of shit non-keyed snout.
