Some Friendly Competition for the Viper - 858rwhp E46 M3 - Video

I bet you guys never thought you'd see a post about a fairly fast 2004 M3. I've seen some blisteringly fast Vipers in my time, even owned a fairly quick GTS. I just thought I'd post up a video of our latest project. I know there are significantly more powerful Vipers but this "stealthy" car would probably surprise a few people.

I guess I can't post a link to the video yet... I need to make a few more posts first.

Chris.

Heard about this M3 , how is traction? Friend had an AAA M3 with north of 500rwhp if I recall but traction sucked, worse then cars that put out more power and weren't on drag radials.

Whats the name of the song, sounds familiar, 3 Days Grace?

I have been following your progress on your turbo M5 (still want to know where you are squeezing those snails), but I have always appreciated your M3s. I love the CNC exhaust manifold.

That M is beautiful for sure. If you're a BMW fan, you'll like what my buddy Mike from NJ did with his 1997 M3. Check out this link and click the "M3" on the left side.

maximumpsi

This car is street driven and has already gone high 9's. He's an incredible fabricator and did this entire car himself. If i'm not mistaken an E46 is next on his list!

Enjoy!

Nice. I have owned 2 different E46 M3's, so I can really appreciate this. Good work!

Nice car. One of my favorite cars was our 2001 E39 M5.

Traction is pretty limited. We have another stage 3 M3 that hooks in 3rd, but we're just finishing up a widebody kit for the M3's that allows 345s in the rear.

The turbo manifold is CNC'd out of steel, then ceramic coated.

Very nice.

As someone who does a lot of CNC machining I can appreciate the workmanship and engineering in those manifolds too.

Steel huh? I hope you're not paying for machine time by the hour

Ardika came by today and picked up his HPF Stage 3 (858rwhp) "SMG" M3. While he was here we strapped it down on the dyno so he could see just how ridiculous 858rwhp really is. Then he drove his new monster and gave us his first impressions.

Here is the video footage...

Here are some pictures of his gorgeous SMG M3 before it left our shop.

And yes, those are water spots.
