It would seem the Iraqi military(?) has chosen to make gorilla warfare their battlefield of choice. In the process I am sure allot of people who otherwise wouldn’t be involved are going to get caught up in the crossfire.

I wonder if taking down Saddam would crush the resistance or if they are themselves fighting to the death for their beliefs?

Geez, that part of the road would creep me out knowing what's going on in that area. Absolutely perfect for an ambush...narrow with high ground on all sides. That could have been a lot worse if the attackers had their shit together. 1st IED picks off lead vehicle, RPG the 4th or 5th vehicle simultaneously and then vehicles 2 through 3 are stuck like chuck for more RPG's and small arms.

Do you know what unit that was Nightstalker?

Agreed. I'm still trying to fund a company wherein civilians from stateside can get hunting licenses for Fedayeen.
