Been trying to figure out in what type of subs to go with on the HT and decided on the Epik Conquest. The package arrived three days early, just in time for the weekend.

Here are the crates. Yeah. you ain't seeing double. Got two just in case.
These are 18". I went ahead just for the fuck of it and hooked up both Conquests and also kept the Velo (powered 12"). Crossed the Velo over around 100 and using it for midbass.
I've also got powered 12's in my 7002's for my rear surround.
Let me tell you. I watched a few scenes of War of the Worlds (pods emerge scene) and I just about called 911 because I thought I was having a heart attack. The shit was messing around with my breathing, and I ain't even got it cranked.
Here is a few pics of the 12" compared to the Conquest.

I used to be a big Godzilla fan when I was a kid. I thought it was a pretty cool looking toy so it became a living room fixture.
Makara, i agree 100%. Whenever the projector comes in, I'll be able to space them like they should be. When they are set up properly, bipolar speakers can't be beat.
