I've heard very real deal players say that in fact even though the book Dempsey wrote is based on western boxing, it's also the best book ever written on Hsing-I which is true/ly one of the most devastating and effective fighting systems ever devised. Dempsey also talks about the vertical punch, body mechanics and alignments, and getting the force of the ground into everything, so yes.... He could do a variation of a one inch punch.
If you've ever read the "one and three inch power punch", a lot of it is rehashed from JD's book.

No, it was a little old Chinese guy who looked like Smokin. He disappeared and I switched to Chinese Kenpo (Ed Parker system) for it's circular patterns and redirection of energies. Did Kali in Balboa park and Tang Soo Do down in Chula Vista with Irv Hoffman.
Hey Trey , when Mike had to fight a true boxer he did'nt have a clue. Do'nt get me wrong he had some devasting knockout's but there is more to a career than ten 50 second knockout's.
Had he one viable brain cell sitting next to his only brain cell he would have ended his career as a great.
I agree that Tyson would have been the all-time best had he had any intelligence. As it turns out, he was probably the most talented and feared boxer but his demise probably took away that image of perhaps the best of all time.

He got hit plenty after he came back to boxing (After being suspended from boxing for not going to the war), but he was barely ever hit before that. I have all his fights on film (all), and in his pre-suspension years he was amazingly fast.

I actually was going to change religions before. I read an advertisement that said "Join our religion, have sex with 72 virgins".
Of course this interested me greatly but when I went to their meeting, turns out the virgins are dead. I'm still okay with that and asked them to point me in their direction, but then they told me to get to them, I have to strap a bomb to myself and blow a bunch of people up.
