I took my mom to lunch and told her what I was going to do next friday. I just showed her the box and opened it up. She just started crying. It was a very special moment. We then drove to my parents house and visit my dad in his shop. My dad is a very non emotional person. I walked him outside and just showed him the box. He damn near knocked me down hugging me with excitement. Both my parents love my girlfriend, so it was cool to see that.

Here is what came in the mail today. Hopefully will be on her finger a week from today.

Good choice, it looks very similar to my wifes. I have always liked the simplicity of the single princess cut with a small band.
