I don't understand this NCAA BB ranking stuff

2. Memphis (13) 30-1 1,693
3. UCLA (5) 28-3 1,646

ESPN/USA Today Poll
1. North Carolina (23) 29-2 766
2. UCLA (4) 28-3 721
3. Memphis (3) 30-1 720

Why isn't Memphis #1 in both polls? They only have 1 loss and that was to #2 ranked Tennessee on the road????????????????????????

Strength of schedule maybe? I think they only played 4 ranked teams all season.. Only the shadow knows ,my friend....

I agree, but the team is using it as motivation, so I'm good with it.

Yeah I guess so Brandon, looks like UCLA is #1 west seed. Did you see the UCLA/USC game last night for Pac Ten Tourney winner. It was a great game USC played great, it went down to the last shot to determine UCLA the winner

Yeah, tell me about it. My Alma Mater, the Wisconsin Badgers, got robbed. They are ranked 6th in both polls and got a 3 seed. Texas is a 2 seed yert Wisconsin beat them at Texas and Texas has one more loss than they do. But, what does it matter. They have to win, that is all. Hopefully my team wins the first two rounds then I can go see them locally in Detroit at Ford Field and against Georgetown most likely.
