I had to put the big one to sleep last year and I'm finally thinking of getting another to keep the bitch (in every sense of the word) company. Can't decide on another Rott or a Carne Corso though.

Where did the pic go? Corso is a fine dog but I don't know their temperments. A Russin guy at dog park had a 13 month old with his balls. Came outta nowhere and bit Cutter's face for no reason, put a deep gash above his eye, Cutter put the 140 pounder on his back without malice.

pics back up.. yeah, I like the Corso but they are known to look for trouble. Rotts, on the other hand, tend to keep close and to themselves when the master is around...besides, the price of a good Corso is insane at $3000+

Nice looking Rotties, look like they loved each other, I'm sorry for your loss. How did your other dog take it? When my last GSD Rebell passed my Golden Retriever who was raised by him since 10 weeks old started self mutilating

Thanks, she was so lost and confused for the first few weeks I wasn't sure if she was going to recover but she's a real tough girl and is fine now...she isn't as sharp with commands anymore though but I have 4.5 acres so it really doesn't matter..we have an agreement, I don't tell her what to do and she doesn't listen..! Getting another dog is going to be good for her because she is very competetive.
