What a fucked up day!!!!!!!!

Man it was one of those fucked up days....I picked up my brother in law from the airport early this morning. The guys a pilot for Jet Blue so he came off the plane fast.From that point we pick up my father in law and wife and rush to Sloan Kettering for his operation...As most of you know my family has been copping with this fucked up disease since we found out he had it a month ago in his lung. Make along story short my wife for no apparent reason took my father in law for a test.A test that is really not routine to do. It's a CT test. They found a small area about .7cm on his lung. We finally did the operation today and he got through it with flying colors. As we check out of the hospital I drop my family off home and then start driving my brother in law to his hotel near JFK. I drop him off and start driving parallel to the airport. All of a sudden I look at my left and see this plane on fucken fire!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh shit..I say to myself this can't be happening..It was strange.I had to pull over on the express lane and rub my eyes.Am I seeing this? Are there people on board? iT LOOKED LIKE A CARGO PLANE.hOPE EVERYONE GOT OFF SAFELY. So that's how my day ends...One of those days I want to forget.... I need a drink!

I heard nothing on the news this morning...I'm headed off to the hospital again....I don't have enough words to describe the hospital. When we walked in the place was incredibly in a happy mode.They really try to cheer you up...Then they bring the patient and the family in this room and they start prepping the patientup. The nurse came in, introduced herself and kept reassuring us he will be fine... She says you all can come in up to the doors where we will take him. The minute the doors open I freak out..It was this long hallway...I mean long...All white Marble and it felt like you were in some space ship.. The team of surgeons waiting and I mean like a team, all waiting for the patient... It took a little longer but when the doctor came out he said it went very well...97 percent chance that it won't come back again..Just have to monitor him every 3-4 months with a scan and check up... I hope one day they find the cure to put this horrible disease to rest..You see so many young people walking through those doors...Like I said before and I'll say it again...Life is short..Enjoy it..Kiss your kids and make sure you make every day count..You never know when the man above will call you to come on up...

Hospital choice makes all the difference. I spent two weeks at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. They have been rated the #1 cardiac hospital for 12 years. I ended up in the emergency room of our local hospital a month later due to complications and could not believe the difference in quality of personnel and cleanliness of the facility. I would not send my pet to the local facility anymore.
Best of luck with your family. I think I had the easier part being operated on than my family had waiting to see if I came out alright.
