I've never seen an ad. I'm sure I'll start seeing them now that I've jinxd myself. I just always thought that if you were a site supporter (Diamond or higher??) you didn't see them.

I am told there is a single 468x60 banner ad that would be visible to all users; but the Google ads are not visible to Gold and above users.
The 468x60 are "house ads" by supporting vendors looking to advertise to the members of the site.
