Just got back with my wife.The movie started great. Alot of Gore.Vampires actually look Alien crossed Maryln Manson. A few shock scenes that get you off your seat.All I HAVE TO SAY THE ENDING SUCKED.. Worth the wait for DVD unless you like to see this on a big screen...Just to warn all you bitches, ALOT OF GORE

Thanks for the review. I went to see it tonight with the thought that I'd be let down because of your post, but I was quite entertained.

I thought it was very good, even without comparing to the big horror disappointments lately in the theaters. Great use of industrial ambient music (Silent Hill type) and the gore was nice. So many horror movies could be great if they had paid enough attention to the sounds and music use, it's good to see this one not ignoring that. The movie leaves you with a sick empty feeling of despair which is what I'd say is what you need to have when you leave a good horror flick. The only thing I didn't like was the quick action/gore shots where they show something bloody/hard hitting/nasty just for a split second and then switch to another shot too quickly (except for one good decapitation scene).

i heard it was awsome but the ending which fits tonys explenation.. ill probably see it during this week. Sounds good.

I caught Rendition on Friday. The previews looked great but the movie was average at best. The message (I believe) this movie is sending is that the US is heavily in torturing terrorist and suspected terrorist when, according the the movie, it never produces any good intel.

From the looks of 3 of the 5 movie previews preceding the movie, Rendition appears to be the first of many anti-US/anti-War movies to come. We have Lions for Lambs, Stop-Loss and one other one I can't remember.
