chicago is a big place....are you in the city or suburbs. if the city, your posibilities are endless. take him to navy pier and if you are around this weekend, go to the lake and check out the air and water show.
not as much to do in the suburbs. where are you?

Air and Water show is a must. First full F-22 raptor demo in midwest will be there. Hopefully the rain will stay away.
Field Museum and Museum of Science and Industry are great Family attractions.
There's also a really large bar in Wrigleyville that has MLB for entertainment.

Tuscany and RoseBud on Taylor street are outstanding as well. If you don't want to go that far, Italian village is good.
Ruth Chris is also a great steak place.

I was just about to say that. Fogo is unreal. I went with the Castellanos and was blown away.
