While I've never been particularly swayed by counter culture types, and their pursuit of individuality through conformity and poor hygiene, I can't say I'm a big proponent of heavy handed policing either. What is clear is that the cops there and the emt's are fucking idiots. They should have placed the leg in traction asap since the popliteal artery and vein are at risk of permanent injury and she could lose her leg, then she may weigh 90, well more like 150 pounds.

The problem is that all this shit is always one-sided. I can just about guarantee that the owner of the site this is posted on is a huge proponent of the protesters.
Sure, he's only gonna post the photos that make law enforcement look bad. What he's not showing is probably the series of events where she kicked another cop in the nuggets or was acting beliggerant or simply not following instructions she was being given.

The pictures speaks volume. Under normal circumstances the Police lie. To cover up for a brutality case they will continue to lie. It is part of the their code. To protect and lie for each other, then comes the general public.
Recently a school resource officer was questioned as to why he told several kids on a high school campus he knew they were selling pot. When they denied it he pointed the finger and said this kid Joe Whoever told me you are. The boy who never said anything was unable to go to school for several weeks because of threats. His parents complained. The officers response was I am trying to find out information and if I have to lie to get it and put another kid in jeopardy he was sorry but it was necessary. It is still under investigation by his fellow officers. Lucky our local newspaper can pressure them to make the right decisions.
