Hey Guys/Gals,
I just joined the other day and want to introduce myself. I'm a 20 year old college student with 1 year left of college. I attend The Rochester Institute of Technology for my BS in Applied Networking and Systems Administration. I work down in Ft. Lauderdale, FL during the summers between classes as a Software Engineer and love living down in South Florida. I plan on taking a job with the company I'm interning at and moving here next spring. I see there is a bunch of guys from FL on this board which makes me happy because I hope to join you guys on some cruises and meets when I get my viper.
Anyways onto the car stuff. I'm planning right now on picking up a 01-02 (non vert) about a year after I get out of college. My budget is going to be around 45K. I hope by that time i can get into an 01-02 for around that price. It will not be my daily driver and I plan to track it every once and a while after some driving lessons. My brother has a B5 Audi S4 stage 2+ that he is building up to be a stage 3. My plan is some day that we can bring our cars to the many sweet tracks in FL and beat the piss out of them.
I hope to learn a lot from you guys so I can "get bit" some day soon. In the meantime do any of you guys know of some good reads or videos on the history of the Viper and an explanation of the different gens throughout the years.

I work as a software engineer for Citrix. You see the word network and think of a job a kid out of highschool can do.
Why do you guys have to be so negative. I see that I was a retard with my first post but I'm new to vipers and the gens. Also you have no idea of people's financial situation. I'm sure there are plenty of guys on this board who have built their own wealth but others who were born into it.
What does race have to do with anything? I'm not Indian. I'm white and as American as one can be.
I edited my first post. I don't know why I put that year with SRT because I'm not a fan of the SRTs. My price range is in the mid 40 which is way too low for an SRT. I meant to say 01 02 model year and love the GTS. I'm not planning on modding it out so I don't care to much about 97-99 years and the price tag that comes with them.
