This clip dates back to 1986 and this was the time frame when Al Gore's & his wife Tipper were making a name for thenselves complaining about lyrics in rock albums. This is the time when warning labels on records came about. Frank volunteered himself to be the point man against warning labels. At 19 mionutes, it's long, but Frank is pretty entertaining in it.

You know it's interesting, besides this "Man from Nantucket" and "Bunghole" t-shirts my kid wears in college all the time, he wears a couple different FZ shirts. Having grown up with FZ's music myself, my sons are both fans now and listen to his past stuff as much (if not more) than anybody else these days. Also caught Dweezil and some of the past FZ supporting band members (Napoleon Murphy Brock, Terry Bozio, etc.) at the Zappa Plays Zappa tour last year, which is still touring this summer.




Anyway, thanks for the post - always nice to see Frank again...

Terry Bozio & his wife Dale, formed this band in the early 80s.....

Lowell George of Little Feat was once in Zappa's band. Go figure that one out.
