Yesterday morning - 8 AM - rush hour - major highway, there was a motor vehicle accident caused by a drunken Hispanic man in a stolen SUV. He crossed the center line and killed a 54 year old man - who by all counts - was a really good person. Of course, drunk ass moron survived with minor injuries.
He gave a license, but said it wasn't him. No other ID and gave a different name. Authorities are working to identify him and understand his immigration status.
Immediately after the accident, the news started interviewing Hispanic support / education groups "explaining" that the DWI laws here are so much more harsh, etc.
Are the fucking stealing laws less restrictive "where they are from" too?
Jesus - go the fuck back. I don't believe this cultural bullshit. You're in this country - figure out the laws. It's not like we keep them a secret.

Not really racist, but our current goverment does not give a shit and will probably imprison the cops if they charge him with the theft, DWI and/or manslaughter. The President of Mexico would not like it.
Only if you read: "drunken Hispanic man.... stolen SUV... killed a 54 year old man... drunk ass moron... understand his immigration status" (which assumes he is probably illegal simply because he is hispanic) and a 54 year old man who "was a really good person" (the lack of a description leaves one to assume "54 year old white man".
I say they run the fucker over with a loaded cement truck and call it a day. They could just dump his body over the border line and let his country take care of it.
The killed guy was white - but - they interviewed folks talking about him and he was minding his own business on the way to work. Had he been black, or Hispanic or Asian - I don't think I would have mentioned his race / ethnicity.
The reason I mentioned the immigration status is that is what the news is reporting - since he has no ID - they really don't even know his name - so they are working to 1) identify him with the help of immigration officials and then 2) ascertain his immigration status.
I just am having a hard time with folks wanting to "explain" why there are a large number of Hispanic men out there driving drunk - it's as if there is a cultural excuse for breaking the law. I have a huge problem with that. Besides that fact that this guy is a criminal douchebag - driving a stolen SUV - shitfaced at 8 AM.........
Perhaps it's more racist to try to blame this ON their culture????
Speaking of being able to get away with whatever you want because of your "culture", I found this to be an interesting article:
The Black And White Of "Ho" Culture
By Kathleen Parker
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- In a new twist in American race relations, a federal court has ruled that a white teacher in a predominantly African-American school was subjected to a racially hostile workplace.
The case concerned Elizabeth Kandrac, who was routinely verbally abused by black students at Brentwood Middle School in North Charleston. Their slurs make shock jock Don Imus look like a church deacon.
Nevertheless, despite frequent complaints, school officials did nothing to intervene on Kandrac's behalf, arguing that the racially charged profanity was simply part of the students' culture. If Kandrac couldn't handle cursing, school officials told her, she was in the wrong school.
Kandrac finally filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and subsequently brought a lawsuit against the Charleston County School District, the school's principal and an associate superintendent. Last fall, jurors found that the school was a racially hostile environment to teach in and that the school district retaliated against Kandrac for complaining about it.
The defendants sought a new trial, but U.S. District Judge David C. Norton recently affirmed the verdict. However, he did not support the jury's findings of $307,500 in damages for lost income and emotional distress.
Although Kandrac clearly suffered -- she was suspended from her job shortly after a story about her EEOC complaint appeared in the local newspaper, and her contract was not renewed -- her case didn't meet evidentiary requirements for damages. The judge said a new trial would have to determine damages, but the school district and Kandrac settled for $200,000.
While the dollars-and-cents issue may have been of paramount importance to school and district officials -- and would have lent heft to the verdict -- the more compelling issue for students, parents and society is the idea that a particular group of people can be allowed to behave in a grossly uncivil and threatening way by virtue of their racial "culture."
The key legal question was whether a school could be held responsible for students' behavior. In this case, the black children of Brentwood had been given a pass for their behavior because vulgar language was considered normal for their culture.
Defense attorney Alice Paylor told jurors that the kids heard this same language at home and there was "no magic pill" to make them behave. Paylor is probably right about that, though a magic paddle might have worked wonders.
Back in the day, if a student talked the way these did, he or she would have received a well-deserved thwack, been suspended and sent home to face the wrath of his or her father. That process likely would have put a swift end to the tribal tyranny now often tolerated in the service of self-esteem.
Let's be clear: What these children called this teacher is beyond reprehensible and could be only be construed as hostile and threatening. Here's a sample: white b----, white m----- f-----, white c---, white a------, white ho.
Other white teachers and students corroborated Kandrac's account, including a male war veteran who testified he would rather return to Vietnam than to Brentwood.
Kandrac's attorney, Larry Kobrovsky, argued that the repeated use of "white" made these slurs racists in nature. But school officials insisted that because black students were equally abusive to other blacks, the language wasn't inherently racist.
Here's what we know without question: If majority white students had used similar language toward black students and teachers, the case would have been plastered on the front page of The New York Times until heads rolled.
A black Kandrac would have a million-dollar book deal, a movie contract and hundreds of interviews to juggle. Her oppressors and those who passively facilitated her abuse would have been pilloried by the media -- their faces all over the evening news -- while the reverends Al and Jesse organized protests.
But a white Kandrac -- who faced a daily barrage of insults, who had books and desks thrown at her and her bicycle tires punctured -- was treated like an incompetent wimp. She was just a lousy teacher out for money, the defense attorney said.
Though Kandrac lost her job, the real losers are the children deprived of an education by the actions of a tyrannical few. And the worst racists are those teachers and administrators who denied these empowered brats the expectation of civilized behavior.
May the rest of America now be emboldened to act decisively in the interest of students who want to learn.

Yep, know the case well. Brentwood Middle School is known affectionately as "Brentwood Fight Club". The school district has had to settle 2 other similar cases in the last year, all totalling just shy of 400K.
Look out Seattle, you guys are getting our former superintendent.
I seem to recall gov't support of thousands of Native American children being forced from their homes and into BIA boarding schools, where they were deprogrammed of their cultural values and language & 're-educated' with 'Anglo American' values & language skills instead.
And now a fucking teacher is held responsible for a classroom of hoodlums preventing her from teaching them academic basics.
I'm surprised the cops even detained the drunk hispanic. Usually they don't wanna be bothered with the hassle of illegals when there are so many law-abiding white people that meekly pay their tickets when received. I suppose since there was a fatality the cop had no choice. I hope he wasn't too inconvenienced.
Coming from a minority and with a parent that drinks more beers than anyone I know ona daily basis., so I guess you can call my dad a drunk. I agree with you 100% about the cultural BS. You can't blame the culture for his stupidity. First off, I know tons of mexicans that don't drink.
The problem is that in America, we do not take responsibility for our own actions and always blame others for our mishaps. I think that the this guy should not get only a drunk driving ticket or manslaughter, he should get vehicular (spelling?) homicide. I don't think a person, legal or not, hispanic or Asian should get away with stealing a car, speed, drink and drive, kill someone and get a slap on the wrist. I don't think he should get deported either, that is too easy. He will just sneak back in (if he is illegal).
My friend was telling me about a story on Oprah about a 24 year old guy driving drunk on the wrong side of the freeway about 80-100 and hit a limo killing 5 adults and decapitating a 4 year old girl. The guy got 18 years and he is appealing. That is BS, I think the guy needs to get life with or death if the state allows it. Everyone knows the effects of alcohol while driving and you have to be in very bad shape to go that fast on the wrong side of the freeway.
The mother of the little girl could not find the body and was holding the child's head on the side of the road cying. Lets just say that if it was my daughter and wife in that situation and the guy only got 18 years and is appealing, I would be in jail for murder and trust me it would not be from a signle shot to the head either...
