Spend the $100 buck and get the car towed. Considering the cage they had in the car, they obviously didn't have a problem spending money on it...

Looks like they didn't have the key tuned to the "on" position and the wheel was locked.

Look at how flimsy the mounting tab for the shoulder belt anchor bar is. I would not trust that thing at all.

I actually got towed in off the track once and did sort of the same thing. Forgot to have the key 'on'. Things got interesting for a moment around one of the turns before I turned the key back on.

Curiously though, when you are towing someone on pavement right behind you and then they go into a decline ditch, would you not feel the difference in the resistance on your car/truck?
And wouldn't the change in resistance at least cause you to look in your rear view mirror?
Kind of dumbass moves all around on this one in my opinion.
