It would be nice but tha HOA dues mean I couldn't buy the house to start with. You'd better be able to have about 350k down that way your house +HOA is about 3500/mo.

crazy....if I could afford it, I would.
Even with 350K down you're looking at more than that. Just the property starts at 675k and I bet there are strict restrictions regarding the build of your home.
I guess if you break it down, the fees are not that bad. If you currently play 2 rounds of golf a month, most likely that is costing you $200 a round depending on your location. Track use is $300 or so for a weekend, the equestrian facilities seem great also. I don't know anything about airport fees, but that should appeal to many. I have appraised many properties that have had $800 a month HOA's and only included a guard gated complex and golf course and you still had to pay your discounted green fees.

I think we all agree on that. Hell, the HOA fees for highrises top out more than 1800/mo in a lot of cases....
I read through and it says that you can have 3 owners per property.
So I'm thinking HighRoller, KRAZY, and myself should partner up and grab one of those puppies.
We may not be all able to contribute equally but if there is one of us that can't quite contribute enough financially, then perhaps he can live in the maids quarters and just keep the place clean and do the cooking etc?

Mike, I'm in as long as HR agrees to co-sign for me.
