Very nice find. I am going to send that to my dad. Each and every morning he goes out to the flagpole in front of his house and pouts up the flag, and takes it down each night.
Very poignant, makesme think of my dad and his military buddies. Every year he and I golf together in an NCOA golf outing and each year the group gets younger and fewer and fewer of the older veterans are absent, due to illness, frailty or death. It is very sad to see, but it is also uplifting to talk to these guys and ladies before they and their stories are gone.

Looking back, being on Honor Guard at Ft. Hood when I was an MP finalely gives me a good feeling. I know now it was an Honor for me, not the other way around but I was just a kid back then and did not understand what it meant, thanks Whitebeard for the post!
