Bushido - I have a good for you. I live just north of Fort Worth Texas - in a pretty high end neighborhood in the city. I go out one day and look in my neighbors tree and there is a gobbler roosting. As a hunter I am like what the hell are you doing there. I go get a call and start calling to - it starts gobbling back - about that time the neighbor comes out and she asks what the hell I doing - I am like you got a turkey in your tree - she look up not know what it is and says she had seen it in her back yard. The thing stayed gobbling back at me till dusk - gone the next day and bever seen it again!

Wow thats pretty amazing how long that turkey stayed in that tree. Turkey season I usually go deep in the mountains, my favorite spot near this stream.But its been harder now less turkeys there and more around the suburbs. The turkeys have been getting more bold here. And like foraging in ppls yards and trash cans. This mornings group was by far the biggest.
Yea - turkey hunting is my fav hunting ever since I got married and quite hunting ass. I have a ranch in Central Texas and hunt them every spring. Right now they are bunched up and you see groups of 50-75 all the time.

Man, its been a long time since I watched pro football SC. Wouldnt know anything about the Phillies these days. Matter of fact I stopped watching pro football ever since Joe Montana retired from the Niners. You see im just stuck in the 80's.

Bushido - where was this at? Looks like No CA.
We have had a TON of them the past few years. My son and I counted over 100 in a cow pasture last spring. There is a group about the size of the pic you took around here that we see quite often.

Im in Northern CA. Yup the turkey population here has been very healthy.
