Yep. Doink(alias Thunk) is gone...but he's about $2.5 mil better off for visiting our fair city. And now we have brought in a dinosaur that hasn't killed anything in about 20,000 years.

Doesn't his name mean "good grammer" in Russian?

I was pretty surprised by that move. That's a boatload of money to kiss goodbye. I read on ESPN's web site that Gramatica had a crappier percentage than Thunk. Where is Efren Herrera when you need him?

They made the right choice. Vanderjagts problem was definitely more psychological than physical. After that miss during the Pittsburgh game last year (wide right), all his misses have been to the right since. Remember the two chip shots he missed in the Minnesota preseason game? Parcels doesn't have patience for this crap, I am surprised he lasted as long as he did.
