Anyone watch the game. i just caught the face stomp in highlights. What do you think he should get for it. I say atleast 1 game suspension, 20k fine....and if i was Jones id press charges on the poorsport peice of shit. Not acceptable on a nationally televised event.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2006) -- Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was ejected early in the third quarter after he stomped on Dallas center Andre Gurode's face.
Julius Jones had just scored on a 5-yard touchdown run, putting Dallas up 20-6. Gurode's helmet came off, and Haynesworth, standing over him, used his right foot and stomped Gurode's head.
A flag was thrown, and Haynesworth followed an official toward the Titans' sideline, protesting.
Haynesworth had pulled off his helmet and slammed it to the ground, prompting another flag. Referee Jerome Boger disqualified Haynesworth, and the player walked off the field after talking briefly with Titans coach Jeff Fisher.
Gurode walked off the field with ice held to his cheek. He received stitches above his left eye.
The NFL letting chickenshits like Haynesworthless play is just one of a growing list of reasons I no longer have anywhere near the interest I once had in football.
Minimum of 2 games I'm thinking. He took stitches above and below his eye. That was an extremely chickenshit thing to do. It's a tough enough sport as it is what with all the injuries that happen during normal play. So to have that sort of injury from a temper tantrum is just completely unacceptable.

Did you see it? It was 110% intentional.
Oh yeah, I was watching the game when it happened and of course it's been replayed many times tonight. No doubt he was frustrated and having a temper tantrum. Did you see Gurode's head bounce off the turf? He didn't just slightly kick him, he kicked the shit out of him.
I had heard about the stitches but i was looking for video to post and saw him in a picture with a towel and no blood so i took that part out of my post. The coach of the cowboys told the opposing coach that if they dont feel that the league does enough punishment charges will be pressed...which i would do anyways.

He should be suspended for the rest of the season without pay!
I'm with you. He could have ended the other players career with a cleat to the eye. And then in the interview afterwards to say, "I saw my kids picture on my phone and I don't want them to think that their dad plays dirty". What the fuck do you call that then? He is worse than a douche bag, he's a colostomy bag.

Actually it was reported that Jeff Fisher ran out to the middle of the field after the game and told Bill Parcells that if the NFL would not sanction his player harshly enough that Fisher would and profusely apologized.
