That was us to a T. I could almost pick myself out in that movie as I'm sure PB could too. The neighborhoods were the same, the Top Notch burger joint is all real. Hell I've even taken Mikala to it just for the novelty of eating in the famous Dazed & Confused hangout. The trashcanning mailboxes was right on. Moon-towers ... bull creek keggers. Stoners, ropers, cheerleaders and jocks.
Was it fun? Hell yes it was fun. Parents were clueless back then and we got away with murder. I think I spent my entire senior year drinking beer out at lake Travis ... and that was during school days. I have no idea how I graduated. It was a fog punctuated by street racing, mayhem, foosball in the Armadillo basement, creative abuse of Eric Fancher, a continual state of flight from the authorities and general tawdry behavior. Good times.
Probably one of the Juracek twins. Big meathead jock who was about 20 yrs old in senior year from being held back by his dad so he could be the badass football star.

I was thinking more along the lines of Art Mowdy from Lanier...
Y'all actually put the paddle to incoming freshman?
Freshman abuse was common but there was no institutionalized hazing across the board. I came in as a sophomore any way as that was the year the school was built.
