Be sure to stick around through the closing credits. Nice "bonus scene" at the very, very end that adds a pretty interesting twist. Strangely enough, everybody in the theater emptied out (largely high school kids at today's matinee) except for an older (60's) couple. They told us to stick around and we did. Interesting!
Oh yeah, and the movie overall was good. Maybe not quite as "deep" as the previous two, but still a nice way to burn off a couple mindless hours (okay, 1 hour 44 minutes).
This thread has been up for at least 40 min. and no one acused you of being gay like the last time you wrote a nice movie review and all of the insecure people couldn't appreciate a decent review of a movie that you saw with your kids.
Thanks Chris! I can't wait to see it.. I hear Wolverine will have his own spin-off movies and that this is sadly the last installment of the X-Men series..
Saw it last night. It was pretty good. Better than the 1st but I still think the 2nd is my favorite of all the X-men movies. As far as sticking around and watching that clip at the end................don't bother, it isn't worth it at all. Spoiler below!!!
The clip is only about 7-10 seconds long and all it is, is some dude lying in a hospital bed and then you hear Xavier's voice since Xavier gets offed in the beginning..........wasn't worth staying through all the credits though
True, there are SO many other things you can do with those 3-4 minutes rather than sitting in a comfy seat waiting to see what happens (spoiler aside).
*MINOR SPOILER*
It is interesting in and of itself because it was directly referred to earlier in the movie. It is even more so when you think that only one major character actually gets offed in this one (one was already dead in II, so being "re-dead" doesn't mean much) - and even that lone "death" isn't 100% (no body).
Last in the series? Not if it pulls in the big bucks as expected. And the last "bonus scene", however brief, will help confirm it. Worth the wait for some and obviously not for others. Don't bother if you have to pee. There may be spin offs, but I smell another sequel...

Can you PM me the exact details of the last scene? who it was in the bed, what did Xavier's voice say...etc.
I really enjoyed X3. I felt they should have worked Arch Angel into the movie. The Juggernaut was great and he used the same bitch line I saw in a silly cartoon recently.

Yeah, when he said that the whole theater errupted in laughter. I thought there should have been more juggernaut fight scenes. That one with him and wolverine in the beginning was pretty tight but I thought in the end he should have had a better scene than just running into the wall and knocking himself out
Wolverine killed Jean Grey/Pheonix in the end but that nurse lady was just "a friend" of Xavier's as he said in the beginning when he was showing his class that video clip
Plain and simple, for a person out to see a movie, with no real background on the comics, this was worth seeing; however, if you have any real knowledge of what happens in the comics, IMO this was a real piece of shit and a horrible way to [supposedly] close out the series. It's not to say that any
