Since we seem to have a few owners, would a forum here for the GT be worthwhile? Maybe a new forum on a new domain? The couple I found seem dead, not sure a whole new site is needed; maybe just a section for GT info?
I wouldn't put it on a different domain, that would take too much traffic away from this site and the AG section (the only thing many of us care about).
Other than that, I see no reason why it shouldn't be a category right under the Ram SRT, Hemi power sections. Put it up for a little while and if no one posts, then take it down.
There is a decent Ford GT forum, which I'm sure you've already seen. It's moderated by a member and part-time poster here, DBK. He may work for Ford or be a corporate shill, but he's a good guy and runs a good site (hope you read this David).
I think there is not too much activity because there are not very many owners or cars, and the site is definitely PG13. I've seen even mild smack get nuked, and trolls are not tolerated for entertainment sake as they are here. (not complaining!)
Therefore I enjoy both sites for different reasons. If the FordGT forum were busier I'd be in trouble because I can check it quickly now and I spend too much time on here already.

Look you punk motherfucker, I don't work for Ford nor am I a corporate shill (Just kidding; thought I'd add a little Alley touch)
The reality about having a GT site is there are few owners and even fewer on the net. Between you guys here, the SVT site, F-chat, lambo-power, the corvette sites, etc, pretty much everyone I've seen on the net with the car is over at fordgtforum.com.
I've always kept it tame because a site like this one isn't what I'd call "inviting" to new owners. Particularly not some of the more er, "genteel", membership a 160k car draws. The GT also has a special ability to draw idiots out of the woodwork who don't know what the hell they are talking about to give their two cents, and I've attempted to avoid them at all costs. Before the gtforum, seemingly all threads on all forums were about snapping control arms sending pregnant women to their deaths at 34mph or Jeremy Clarkson's alarm.
That said, I don't think I've ever really "had" to censor much. The guys have just been remarkably civil on their own...
DBK runs a good website and it has really changed just in the few months that I've been going there. I'm sure that things will pick up as more and more of the GT's are bought up. Based on the ratio of Ford GT's to all other cars I'm delivering right now, they're being snapped up at a feverish pace. There are a lot of Viper owner's moving in to GT's.

That makes perfect sense since the Viper's unique styling endedwith the 2002 model run. In 2003 when the styling went downhill l(ike an avalance), so went my interest in the Viper. I expect to own a GT at some point, hoping for it to be this year, but if I have to wait until next year, that's fine too.

Better hurry, I think '07 is the last year of production.
Oh good Lord- as long as this doesn't attract the IDIOTS like the guy they found to represent the FGT on American Supercars last night on the Travel Channel (not sure when it re-airs - but check it out)
Unfortunately, this guy was a colossal douche.
He was exactly how we're painted by the vette guys..... Sad, and frightening....
I'd like to say that if your goal was to eliminate all GT worship on this board, you've come pretty close by creating that special forum. I posted some neat pics in there and there hasn't been any response! All the threads are dead whereas they drew a lot of action when they were in the Garage and AG forums...
