I know, I suck - no pictures. But last night my neighbor's wife was driving home in our old Suburban (they buy many of our cars when we are done with 'em) when she got shot. With a potato gun! Shattered the windshield and came partway through the glass - at least the mush did. This was maybe four blocks from our house in a decent neighborhood.
Strangely enough, several windows and doors were blown out by potato guns a few miles from here yesterday as well. Homes, businesses, and cars - all stationary. This was the first "moving target" they took on. And of course our wonderful local cops took some pictures and laughed about it as they walked away. Sigh...
Knowing that they were targeting windows, the neighborhood was almost pitch black last night - no interior lights on at all. No reason to frame their targets for them...

Sorry to hear that. We used to build those things. I couldn't imagine shooting a moving vehicle with one. Fucking dumb asses. I'm glad she didn't get hurt.

Glad to hear it wasn't more serious. I guess everyone got fairly lucky. That scenario has the makings for one very serious tragedy. I hope they catch the idiots doing it and they get punished accordingly. It's all fun and games as long as they're just shooting that thing out in their back yard or in the middle of nowhere, but when they're trashing other people's property and endangering their lives with stupidity they deserve to get a commensurate beating.
