I'd like to remind people to keep the smack talk in the Anything Goes area (well, except for the smack between tuners).
As I've said in the past, I don't want the whole site to be a trash talking bullshit website; there are people who are here who want to have actual discussions about Vipers without it immediately turning into a "you suck" or "fuck you" smackfest. Same with new members who join up and post in that section for the first time - no need to go off like idiots on everyone who joins.
I know you all know this, but for some reason I have to keep repeating it every 6 months or so. We can't be the #1 Viper site if people are trolling for fights in the technical forums.

I can understand the occasional "smack reply" to the really stupid ones. But the "usual suspects" just jump on the turkey truck and it turns into a free-for-all. There are a few here, that's all they know......... they can't help themselves.

If you have nothing substancial to offer the Viper Discussions, maybe you should just avoid them altogether.
I have plenty to add to Viper discussions, that thread with snakesores should not have been touched. He posted, I gave an opinion, he responded and it goes from there.
Every single time there is something that is an issue with this place there seems to be a mad rush to put something in place so that we can control it or manage it, just let it go, that thread does not detract from the site.
It doesn't work like that, Craig. As much as you might want an "unmoderated free for all" thats not what this site is about - it's always been a "lightly moderated" site with guidelines. It's annoying to open up a thread in the VD area and have to wade through three pages of bullshit posts.
I know you have a real problem staying within those guidelines and that's a shame because you are such a high profile poster with 21,677 posts to your credit; and you and I have butted heads over the rules before, but there is no "Craig Exemption" to them and while I think its annoying to have to remind you what they are, your actions put me in the position of having no choice but to do it.

No shit , I have friends with Vipers that won't even ask a simple question in the "Discussions" section because of the beating they will promptly receive. They lurk , yet never post at all.

As Biggs pointed out, I think the group you may have been trying to reference might better be described as "the clones". Dragging down a board near you.
