However, I do have to say that until just now I never noticed just how funny it is that SnakeHerpes was posting in the forum with the abbreviation of VD.
It doesn't work like that, Craig. As much as you might want an "unmoderated free for all" thats not what this site is about - it's always been a "lightly moderated" site with guidelines. It's annoying to open up a thread in the VD area and have to wade through three pages of bullshit posts.
I know you have a real problem staying within those guidelines and that's a shame because you are such a high profile poster with 21,677 posts to your credit; and you and I have butted heads over the rules before, but there is no "Craig Exemption" to them and while I think its annoying to have to remind you what they are, your actions put me in the position of having no choice but to do it.
Snakesores posted pics, I gave an opinion. I don't think that I am "above" anything and that I play by a different set of rules. The result of that thread is how it is because snakesores gets pussyhurt easily.

What I see is technical section with pages and pages of bullshit posts that have little, if anything, do to with the topic being discussed. The majority of people who use that section don't want to waste their time weeding through the bullshit to find the useful posts.
The way you went about expressing your displeasure was inappropriate for that section. If you didn't like what he had done, there are ways to say it within the guidelines for that section.
It started with just making fun of a guy that had a seal riding shotgun in his McViper and it just spiraled. Before I knew it I was talking smack every day. I should have realized I was addicted when I started skipping lunch to poke fun at V4C and PFR. Then before I knew it I was telling my secretary to hold my calls so I could dogpile people with Anaconda and DocAdam. I really knew I hit rock bottom though one day when Smokin agreed with one of my posts. That really drove home to me how far I had sunken.
I've been smack free in the Viper technical section for almost 24 hours now. Thanks for the encouragement MP. With your support, I'm going to step away from the computer and go out and get loaded.

I have to agree with Spray here, I've had several Viper customers tell me they were leery about joining here. I just give them this big old wide eyed innocent look and tell them they're crazy, this is a great place that offers a lot! I mean, if I could be a member, (bat the eyelashes here) they could too.
Gotta admit some of the noobs are awful sensitive. If you're not overly delicate with a response some of them can get defensive. That's when we smell blood.

But there comes a point when we have to step in and 5 pages of bullshit posts is enough to piss off anyone. When people start trolling the VD area for entertainment that provide virtually no value, then its up to me to remind everyone why we have them in the first place.
