Im getting a new set of pop ups lately. The window is grey with a blue title bar, looks like an MS OS window. The title always says "messenger service" and the window text is an advertisement for something (usually AV software)with just a button to click OK. Is this coming through some sort of messenger service I activated/installed/downloaded by mistake? Or is it the new generation of pop ups designed to fool the average user into clicking ok?

I decided to attach a pic of it.....
These are the ones that I ALWAYS have gotten. Until Jerome gave us a link to that Free Pop Up Stopper program. Now I NEVER get ANY pop ups. I use to have t least 40-50 in the morning, and got them all day long.
It's a Messenger service pop-up. If you're using Win 2000 Pro or Win XP Pro or home, it can be disabled. If you're using Win98 or Win Me you can't disable it through the O/S. What are you using?
OK now when I go to expedia I cant see any of the pics of the hotels. I removed the ad-aware AND the spybot and I still dont see the pics. Is this somehow related to any of this? I know expedia was working before I installed these. I even deleted my Kazaa.
