Of course you side stepped the first part of my post. I have walked the walk and came to a point where I stripped what I was told to be true by man. I went into the wilderness and listened and looked for the truth. You know what I found? Crickets. And to think I almost became a preacher
Yes I thumped the crap out of the bible spreading the word. Problem was I never sought the truth for myself, only relied upon years of repetitve sermons from a men. I was exposed to First Southern Baptist, Lutheran and non denominational.
I am still open to the Truth because the truth is what I have always sought. Problem is God/ Holy Spirit and Jesus have not revealed themselves. I don't base the truth on assumptions grilled in you from birth. Until you strip what man has taught you to believe and you seek the truth yourself, you will not understand what the hell I am talking about. So keep running to the scripture that of course was written by man and translated and to whoever deemed should be in the bible and what should not for your answers.
Strip everything you have been taught by man and walk into the wilderness seek what you are looking for. Perhaps you willl get a visit from Satin himself offering you great things? Perhaps God will talk to you as well and reveal himself. Rather than relying on abstract and vague reasoning from men. Truly put your faith in God, not man.....see if he Truly answers you. Not sure if he will since he couldn't lift a Holy finger to save a young girl from bein g raped and killed. My lack of faith is not in God, rather man's teachings of the definition of God's will.
Still waiting for the Oh Mighty and will wait until the day I die.... just crickets so far

Well my years of "searching" are over, thankfully. Everyone has their own way of getting to the destination of absolute Truth one way or another. The point is that with a seeking attitude and an effort on their part that they get there. Since people were originally made for the infinite things of God, in this life they always search for "more". I.E. A car... then a faster car, a house... then a bigger house. Nothing wrong with that, but that person must realize that finite things and other humans wont satisfy all of their needs... since thats His job, and He's very well qualified
