Honestly, if you folks who voted for Bush knew what you know now, would you still have voted for him in 2000 and again in 2004? If he could run again, would you vote for him again in 2008?

Given what the alternatives were, in a heartbeat. You are hard pressed to find two more horrible people than Al Gore and John Kerry, really.
The question is: why should it matter to anyone who Bill Clinton fucks? Why would anybody other than Hillary care? Maybe even she didn't care.
Well Mike, because everyone else in the free world who gets caught fucking at work gets fired. And, there are usually sanctions for drowning your mistress and not reporting the incident until you sober up.

Are we still talking about Clinton here? Have Ted and Bill been partying together?
That explains how a nitwit can get elected...twice, fuck up every thing he touches, and still remain in office: nitwit voters!
Mikie - you and your party are missing the point...
You have to put those elections into the context that the Dems had 9 candidates - all bashing - no ideas - and they all flopped on simple and complex ideas...
In that scenario - yes, I would vote for GWB again...
But somehow, you think that history started this morning...
This is absolutely no different than you waiting until Monday morning to jump on issues of blame and hindsight from a week before... Lets be honest Mikie - anyone on your side would be completely paralyzed with even the smallest issues that this country is going through - unfortunately you can not always wait until you see which way the political winds are blowing...

There's no question that the Dems have their problems in the leadership department. Going back to 2002 when they should have been intelligently questioning the overly agressive stance toward Iraq that the president was taking, they were afraid of appearing unpatriotic and many of them "voted for the war before they voted against it," so to speak. Instead of being the opposition party, they were the go-along party.
Yes, I would still have voted for him. He may not go down as being the greatest pres., but I believe that he has handled the war on terror well and he has been genuine about his reasons for being there.
I HATE how democratics give Clinton a pass on everything. HE HAD AN AFFIAR WHILE IN OFFICE, IN THE WHITE HOUSE, AND HE LIED TO THE NATION ABOUT IT. Do you really want to defend a man that does something like that. If your answer is yes, then why is it hard for you to understand why you are not in the majority. Most people look at that and say, "thats wrong".
If I was a democrat I would be concerned that Kerry was the cream-of-the-crop and your nominee for President. Get an agenda that is something beside going against everything Pres. Bush does.
I'm going to go smoke a joint and calm down.
